Accessibility

Accessibility statement

We want anyone to be able to browse this site, read the journal and reach the shop, regardless of how they get online or what tools they use to do it. This page says plainly what we aim for, what the site already does, and where it still falls short.

Our target

We are building toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, at level AA. That is the standard we hold ourselves to, page by page.

What the site does

Every part of the site can be reached and used from a keyboard, including the menu, the bag, the lookbook hotspots and every form. Focus is always visible: a clear outline shows where you are as you move through the page. Anyone who has asked their device to reduce motion sees this site with the animation turned down or off. Images carry written descriptions for anyone using a screen reader or with images turned off. Nothing on this site opens as a popup: there is no arrival overlay, no interruption you did not ask for.

How to reach the shop

If something on the site is hard to use, or you would rather ask a person, use the styling request page or call one of the shops at (904) 356-0027.

Known limits

This is a demo built to show what the site could be. The photography throughout is placeholder imagery, not photos of the actual shops or their real merchandise, and some pages are still being finished. We will keep working on both the content and the accessibility of the finished site.
